Once you Locate the 2.57.00 RSlinx Lite file, open it and you will see a file called tools. You will see “Tools” when you open it, right click on it and choose “Properties”, you will then get a drop down list under the properties pic, choose the “Compress folder” option, now you will see a bar on the bottom, click on the little plus sign (+), now you will see three bars on the top, click on the last one, then choose “More”, click on the last one, the bottom line should say “Step 1: Aragam”, click on the arrow on the right to the Step 1, then click on the “Proceed” button at the top of the window.
Now that you have completed Step 1 of Aragam, step 2 will be to install Aragam, which I did, open it up and click on the “Next” button, go to advanced settings, here you will see “Windows Folder”, double click on it, then select the “Include System Folders”, at the bottom right of the options, click done, now a menu will pop up on the left side of the screen, click on “Create New Folder”, now you should see a window on the right side of the screen where a bunch of folders will pop up. Click on the “Browse” button, now you will see all the folders on your C drive, look through them and pick the one with rl.lite in the name, your file will be in the blue folder, double click on it and you should see the rl.lite files, now right click on the rl.lite file and select “Extract”, depending on your computer you will get a tick next to the two pop ups that will come up, you can click on the OK button to accept, now you should see your rl.lite file on the desktop and in your programs, double click on rl. d2c66b5586
