Mikey looks forward to meeting his sibling as well as being a responsible big brother. When the baby is about to be born, her umbilical cord gets caught around her neck, putting her in distress. Given the name \"Julie\", she is born through a c-section and is taken to the nursery area for observation.
All of which leads us to an overwhelming question: Why is it necessary for the dogs to speak They engage in your standard \"Lady and the Tramp\" repartee, but along about the second reel I realized that there was no earthly reason at all for the dogs to talk except that they were in a sequel made by filmmakers who had lost the nerve to produce another talking baby (\"Look Who's Talking Three\").
The first film had maybe a shred of realism to flavor its romantic comedy. This one looks like it was chucked up by an automatic screenwriting machine. Travolta gets a corporate pilot's license, and is hired by sexy bombshell Lysette Anthony, a corporate exec who wants to seduce him. She contrives for him to be away from his family on Christmas Eve, after which Alley packs the kids and the dogs into the taxi and heads off for the North Woods, where Travolta is being held captive in a snowbound cabin by the sex-starved exec.
I have watched Look Who's Talking many many times. This is only the second time I have watched the sequel....Look Who's Talking Too. We get many of the people back from the first movie...John Travolta, Kristie Alley, Olympia Dukakis and Bruce Willis as the voice of Mikey. Like all sequels they go with the \"more is better approach\". So this time around we get Roseanne Barr and Damon Wayans as talking babies too.
More of the same as the first one but not as funny. This also has some creepy horrifying nightmare scenes with a talking toilet called the toilet man, voiced by mel Brooks and a teddy bear that comes to life with red eyes and freddy Krueger claws. A weird , messed up comedy. I cant believe they made three of these.
In this hilarious sequel to LOOK WHO'S TALKING, little Mikey figures he's got it made after uniting his mother (Kirstie Alley) with the dad of his dreams (John Travolta). But instead of family bliss, Mikey gets the biggest surprise of his life-- a baby sister. Bruce Willis returns as the voice of Mikey, while Roseanne Barr's voice delivers baby Julie's delightful wisecracks. Together, these two fast-talking tots face a series of kiddie dilemmas, including the trials of potty training, their parents' marital squabbles, and an inevitable -- but very funny-- dose of sibling rivalry. As this loving family is about to learn, twice the trouble is also twice the fun!
In Look who's talking, a single mother must decide if happy-go-lucky James or successful businessman Albert would make the best father to baby Mikey. In Look who's talking too, Mikey learns how to be a big brother to his new baby sister, Julie. 781b155fdc
