MMOexp: Not everyone is taking their leisurely time with the game

Elden Ring has been out for a little over two weeks and, if your like me, you're still exploring the vast gothic universe of the Lands Between. Not everyone is taking their leisurely time with the game, though one speedrunner was able to rip through FromSoftware's action-RPG in just two and a half hours...without even dying once! Color me jealous.

As was reported by PC Gamer, YouTuber niko bellic--not an actual GTA IV protagonist--posted a video last week of the Elden Ring speedrun. The race started off in the same way. Niko picked the Vagabond which is a great starting class with a huge health pool and a decent strength stat for their first run. In the wake of "dying" the single needed time at the start of the game, to an arm with multiple arms Grafted Scion and skipping the training area, niko hit the main world of Limgrave and immediately began running towards three Sites of Grace, which gives you the ability to download torrent. The faithful steed is not simply a free-of-jail card in case encounter a tough boss, it's also a necessity for exploring Elden Ring's massive world. Double-jumping horses are the thing that allowed niko to run faster in the game.

You can guess what happened the rest of the race ran. Niko skipped most fights. Instead, they opted to blast through entire areas to take advantage of them, running through The Lands Between, only stopping to defeat bosses that are mandatory such as Margit as well as one of the Fell Omen. Niko took on a few bosses on occasion and took damage all through the course, but they managed to crush Elden Ring with the starting armor and without taking an unfathomable blow. Wild!
