In the section on Jedi Temples and Academies in the guide Jedi Academy Training Manual, it incorrectly states that the Dantooine Jedi Enclave was in use a few decades after the end of the Jedi Civil War. The source book also states that it was abandoned by the Jedi after Kreia killed the remaining members of the Jedi Council.[33] While Kreia did kill the last three Council members, the Jedi did not rebuild the Enclave until after 3951 BBY, five years after the Jedi Civil War's end.[1] After Kreia lost her left hand on Peragus, there are a few errors in her actions and movements while lacking it throughout the rest of the game, such as holding her lightsaber in a two-handed grip. Also, in the cutscene depicting Darth Traya's betrayal at the hands of Darths Sion and Nihilus, she is shown without her hand, though she did not lose it until years later.[2]
Maul was a Force-sensitive Dathomirian Zabrak male who established himself as a crime lord during the reign of the Galactic Empire. He was once known as Darth Maul when he was the apprentice of Darth Sidious, and therefore, a Dark Lord of the Sith. Having trained in the ways of the Force, Darth Maul was a formidable warrior strong with the dark side and possessed deadly skills in lightsaber combat. In addition, he was a scheming mastermind who plotted his return to power despite losing his place in the ranks of the Sith.
As Maul had foreseen,[50] Anakin Skywalker did indeed fall to the dark side, becoming Sidious' next apprentice and taking on the name Darth Vader. With his new student at his side, Sidious established the Galactic Empire and enacted the Great Jedi Purge, the next step in his grand plan.[55][52] Vader and the Jedi-hunting Inquisitorius were set loose to eradicate the Order that Maul had once wished to topple.[56] Maul himself became a target of these Inquisitors, but, for all their skills, they were unsuccessful in discovering his whereabouts. Over the years, Maul remained elusive enough to the Imperial hunters that they began to refer to him as \"The Shadow.\"[15] Additionally, The Grand Inquisitor had used parts of Maul's ship the Scimitar to build his personal TIE Advanced v1.[57] In time, Maul acquired a new lightsaber, which appeared as if it used parts salvaged from an Inquisitor's double-bladed lightsaber.[58]
Using fear to ensure his followers obeyed him, Maul sought riches and power as a crime lord.[82] Maul once displayed a degree of honor[50] despite considering it a weakness for the dark side,[10] as he freed the clone trooper Jesse when he no longer had a use for the solider. Shortly later, however, he left his Mandalorian warriors to die.[50]
As the dark side of the Force became stronger within the galaxy during the time of Order 66, Maul's level of sheer strength grew as well for a brief time. He demonstrated the ability to telekinetically affect pure energy in the form of blaster bolts, effortlessly causing the rounds fired at him by Bo-Katan to bend and veer out of his path and into the nearby walls just by waving his hand. Shortly after his capture during the Siege of Mandalore, Maul was released by Ahsoka Tano when Order 66 was issued and the clones turned against her. After being released, Maul murdered several clones using only his telekinetic abilities, tearing panels off the walls to defend himself from the shots and crush and decapitate the clones. The rampage ultimately culminated in Maul disabling the Venator-class Star Destroyer, which had been ferrying the renegade Sith, solely through his mastery of the Force. He used the Force to crush the massive hyperdrive generators of the Venator Tribunal, resulting in its complete destruction.[54] Over a decade later, Maul told Ezra Bridger that his advanced age had diminished his abilities. However, this was later revealed to have been a deception meant to gain the boy's trust. Indeed, Maul had been able to Force Grip the Seventh Sister against her active resistance while simultaneously killing her with a Saber Throw.[15]
A Transcendent Martial Master, Jin Mu-Won is an extremely powerful and capable martial artist, capable of injuring one of the strongest members of the Silent Night, and a legendary one at that. And after 7 years of mastering his skills, He was able to defeat many sect leaders and also killed one of the great four of the northern heavens Jo Cheon-Woo who was on par with the four demonic lords of Silent Night in terms of power. Jin's abilities are so great that he was able to surprise the \"Ten Thousand Poison Emperor\" Tang Geon-woo by being the first person to easily break through the old master's \"One hundred dusk of falling leaves\" technique.
Middle-earth is the setting of much of the English writer J. R. R. Tolkien's fantasy. The term is equivalent to the Miðgarðr of Norse mythology and Middangeard in Old English works, including Beowulf. Middle-earth is the human-inhabited world, that is, the central continent of the Earth, in Tolkien's imagined mythological past. Tolkien's most widely read works, The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, are set entirely in Middle-earth. \"Middle-earth\" has also become a short-hand term for Tolkien's legendarium, his large body of fantasy writings, and for the entirety of his fictional world.
The term Middle-earth has come to be applied as a short-hand for the entirety of Tolkien's legendarium, instead of the technically more appropriate, but lesser known terms \"Arda\" for the physical world and \"Eä\" for the physical reality of creation as a whole. In careful geographical terms, Middle-earth is a continent on Arda, excluding regions such as Aman and the isle of Númenor. The alternative wider use is reflected in book titles such as The Complete Guide to Middle-earth, The Road to Middle-earth, The Atlas of Middle-earth, and the series The History of Middle-earth.[4][5]
The Darkhold contained infinite knowledge;[1] not only did it have a full chapter on the Scarlet Witch myth,[2] but it also contained spells, formulas,[9] information on how to create machines to harness energy from other dimensions,[27] and even coding.[12] While most of the time, its pages were blank, there have been certain occasions when the reader had immediate access to its content, for example, when Robert Minoru opened the book to find the spell to access the Dark Dimension.[20] When the pages were blank they could be read when they entered in contact with the reader, the dark book read the reader and adapted to them by showing them the information that they were looking for, featuring instructions to make their desires come true, written in the language the reader would fully understand.[9][19] The instructions that came from the book could guide the reader to their ultimate goal by showing them how to build items, some of which harness energy from other dimensions.[3] Therefore, even brilliant scientists, like Leo Fitz, could not understand how the creations worked.
Though his powers were drained by the Lich King's weakness, Arthas had been involved in a civil war in Lordaeron. Half of the standing undead forces, led by Sylvanas Windrunner the banshee, had been freed by the Lich King's sudden loss of influence and resented what they had become. Also, another group of undead was still under the control of the Legion's remaining commanders: the three dreadlords Varimathras, Detheroc and Balnazzar.[23] Arthas, called by the Lich King, was forced to leave the Scourge in the hands of his lieutenant, Kel'Thuzad, as the war escalated throughout the Plaguelands.[24]
Hawaiian legend has it that many centuries ago, the Menehune were a mischievous group of small people, or dwarfs, who lived hidden in the forests and valleys of the islands before the first settlers arrived from Polynesia. These Menehune, who roamed the deep forests at night, were said to be about two feet (60 cm) tall, though some were as tiny as six inches (15 cm), small enough to fit in the palm of a hand. They enjoyed dancing, singing and archery, and their favorite foods were bananas and fish.
These industrious master builders used their great strength to build temples (heiau), fishponds, roads, canoes and houses. One such structure they are believed to have built is Kikiaola, also known as the Menehune Ditch, a historic irrigation ditch that funnels water from the Waimea River on Kauai. Another one of their amazing feats is the legendary overnight creation of the Alekoko Fishpond on Kauai, which archaeologists estimate to be around 1,000 years old.
It is said that they built the Alekoko Fishpond for a princess and her brother. The shy but strong group lined up in a double row, which stre
