omega labyrinth life deluxe edition, meanwhile, also contains a lot of added content. with a story tailored for a second run through, you get the extra character (who you'll have to play as if you didnt already), a new dungeon to explore and four new characters that you can save and keep (or not). it also comes with some additional music, as the game has had a bit of a makeover in the switch version. all in all, the deluxe edition adds a lot, and is a good bit cheaper than the original. however, it does have some fairly questionable drm on top of that and it is also a little bit shorter than the original. you're probably better off picking up the original and then buying this add-on for good value.
we recommend you pick up the original omega labyrinth life and the omega labyrinth life deluxe edition. then you can play the game you want to without having to worry about buying a broken version of it.
one of the biggest problems with omega labyrinth life is that none of the characters are particularly good looking. the characters look like they were all thrown into the game via a web browser upload tool and then given a makeover with a cheap photoshop filter. thats a huge problem in a game that focuses so heavily on the presentation and appearance of its characters. i suppose the answer is that its one of those things where you get what you pay for, but the fact that the characters in omega labyrinth life appear to have been thrown together by accident and that theyre so bad looking and lifeless is indicative of the opposite of what it aspires to be. i cannot even remember what the game is about. the actual gameplay of the game isnt the main selling point, and the fact that all the characters are the same and that there are no events, like fights, that require a particular combination of character is testament to this. its quite clear that this isnt a game designed to be played with, but to be gazed upon. there is a lot of dullness in the game, and theres a lot of purposelessness, but its on the part of the fan service that doesnt feel like a purposeful part of the game. fans of the original game might be interested to know that the game doesnt feature any new characters or any new dungeons; its just a rather clumsy and shallow remake. its like a bad tokusatsu series with a bad soap opera for an idea. 3d9ccd7d82
