The object is to move the juggler's hands to juggle the balls. If the balls land into his hands, it is tossed up again. If the balls do not land into his hands, they fall to the ground and the player loses.
Children. First they were slinging coffee from the ripe old age of five and now they're expertly tossing pizza dough to a soundtrack of Moves Like Jagger. Here's a video of a seven year old from Jersey City tossing a pie in his father's pizzeria and, even though he's barely taller than the counter, he is all over it: one-handed, two-handed, behind-the-head moves and a little bit of nonchalant mugging for the camera. He's maybe not up to par just yet with the crazy freestylers from the World Pizza Games, but apparently the boy's father is looking into getting him formal training, as \"sponsored pizza throwers can earn up to $250,000 a year from competitions.\"
IN-1 (D-Mrvan) Toss Up: After redistricting, incumbent Frank Mrvan (D) is in a district that became more Republican, but would have gone for Joe Biden by 3 points in 2020. His challenger is Jennifer-Ruth Green, an Air Force veteran who would be the only Black Republican woman in Congress, if elected. This is a race that may be a toss up, but one that Democrats would likely have to win to hold the House or keep Republicans' margins down.
Myles Brennan hit on 11-of-17 passes for 99 yards and a touchdown, while Garrett Nussmeier connected on 9-of-16 for 136 yards and a score. Jayden Daniels showed the best running ability but hit on just 3-of-9 balls for 68 yards and a touchdown, and true freshman Walker Howard tossed the final score of the day and was good on 3-of-7 throws for 57 yards.
A promotional staple across hockey, teddy bear tosses allow fans to hurl teddy bears onto the ice, where they are then gathered and donated to various charities. Select teams across the hockey ranks have already conducted teddy bear tosses, while others are in the works. Some of those events will be highlighted in latest edition of Promotions Watch.
Perhaps the most notable teddy bear tosses to have taken place are those of the Hershey Bears (AHL) and the Calgary Hitmen (WHL). On December 4, the Bears hosted their annual take on the promotion at the Giant Center, and it was met with record-breaking numbers. Overall, the Bears collected 20,662 stuffed animals. That shattered the previous record of 18,115, which was set last season.
The Hitmen, meanwhile, staged their teddy bear toss on a grand scale. According to The Calgary Herald, 23,942 stuffed animals were collected as the Hitmen hosted the annual promotion at the Scotiabank Saddledome. It continued a proud tradition of teddy bear tosses in Calgary, where the Hitmen received a record 28,815 bears in 2015.
While some teddy bear tosses are already in the rear-view mirror, there are plenty to look forward to across minor league hockey. Some are just days away, while others will take place after the new year.
The weekends are a prime time for teddy bear tosses, as evidenced by the packed slate for December 17. That evening includes an entry from the Indy Fuel (ECHL), who are offering ticket specials for as low as $12. Meanwhile, the San Diego Gulls (AHL) are undertaking a similar promotion, and will give participating fans a chance to win a team autographed hockey stick. Other promotions to keep an eye on that evening comes from the Charlotte Checkers (AHL), who have donated more than 11,000 bears over the past five seasons, and the Saskatoon Blades (WHL).
For an earlier event, fans can look to Friday, December 16 for some options. Among the teddy bear tosses scheduled that night include the Texas Stars (AHL), Vancouver Giants (WHL), Moncton Wildcats (Quebec Major Junior Hockey League), and the Fargo Force (USHL).
In the coming weeks, there will be even more teddy bear tosses, including some after the new year. A pair of examples for 2017 include the Stockton Heat (AHL), who will stage a teddy bear toss on January 17 in conjunction with a player photo card giveaway. Another entry to watch comes from the Green Bay Gamblers (USHL), who are staging their teddy bear toss on February 25.
At this reception, the bride and groom decided to do a cat toss in lieu of chucking the bouquet. Together, they heaved a plush cat toy into the waiting crowd. Whoever caught it was required to adopt a shelter cat. (So only the people who wanted a cat headed out to the dance floor.)
The worthy cause is fantastic, but the resulting toss was the cherry on top. One bridesmaid was clearly in it to win it, displaying range, aggression, and plenty of effort. She had her elbows out when the plush cat was thrown and then leapt into the air to deflect it away from a group of would-be cat adopters.
You usually don't get that kind of enthusiasm with the bouquet, and I would very much like it if we all stopped doing the ultra-uncomfortable garter toss. So why not toss a plush cat or dog (puppy toss) out there and help a needy animal find a new home

During Wednesday's boat parade in Tampa to honor the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after their 31-9 victory Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, Brady had possession of the Lombardi Trophy and tossed it to another boat so that the players on the other one could celebrate with the trophy.
It was an underhand toss, with Brady appearing to cautiously prepare for the throw by gauging the weight and trajectory he should use. The two boats were moving at the same time and there appeared to be a distance of about 10 to 15 feet between them.
Just as they did five years ago following the first title in franchise history, Houston Astros fans made the pilgrimage downtown for the World Series championship parade. An estimated two million fans made the trek to watch their hometown heroes celebrated in the streets, leading to one of the most raucous atmospheres in Houston in recent memory.
\"Put a phone in my face onstage and I'll throw it. #LiveInTheMoment,\" he captioned in a Twitter video that shows the incident (see below). Since then, our pie toss has only grown. The 2016 attendees brought over 20 pies to be thrown at Joey, and 2017 brought our biggest pie toss EVER seen in the video above! It was so big, in fact, that we had to bring in two additional \"Toon Enough\" team members, Jenny (Lemondrop) and Jeremy (Fat McStink) to help Joey out.

Domi tried not once, not twice, but three times to toss a puck over the glass to the young, big-eyed fan in the front row. It was appearing as though failure was imminent, but after a quick lap to regroup, Domi returned and successfully granted the kid his wish. 153554b96e
